Week 2: Bears @ Texans

Prediction: Similar game script to Week 1: Texans @ Colts. Caleb Williams impresses in some aspects, but probably makes some rookie mistakes that puts them behind. I could see some kind of Texans defensive touchdown. This lets Caleb Williams stay on the field more and rack up stats.

For DFS Tournaments: Caleb Williams CPT + Texans D in the flex. I think DJ Moore has enough talent to be productive. A fringe Bears receiver catches a deep one (my guess is DeAndre Carter). Texans D scores at some point and gets Caleb on the field again to add more stats. Not bullish on RBs in this game, although Joe Mixon could break the slate for no reason. Stroud slightly underperforms due to not having to do much.

For Sports Betting: D’Andre Swift under 44.5 rush yards. Caleb Williams over 20.5 rushing yards.

Post-game Review

Tonestimate Score: 7/10

What went right:

  • D’Andre Swift only had 18 rush yards
  • Caleb Williams had 44 rush yards
  • Caleb threw 2 picks (although no pick 6s)
  • DeAndre Carter was highly involved (although no deep pass)
  • Joe Mixon struggled

What I missed:

  • Caleb struggled more than I expected due to pass rush (only 174 pass yards, no TDs)
  • DJ Moore was just average this game
  • No defensive TD
